Our commitment
DevCheck QM is designed to process device diagnostics locally whenever possible. We do not sell personal data.
Permissions are requested only when a feature needs them: camera access for QR and barcode scanning, network information for connectivity diagnostics, and installed-app information for the Apps tab. News and optional device imagery are retrieved from online services. QR results remain on your device unless you choose to open or share them.
Data and services
Device specifications are read through Android system APIs. Online news is provided by DevCheck News. Some device images and manufacturer information may be downloaded when an internet connection is available. The app does not use this website for behavioral advertising.
Storage and control
Language preferences, favorites and app settings may be stored locally. You can clear them through Android settings or uninstall the app. You can deny or revoke optional permissions at any time; only the related feature will be unavailable.
Children and changes
The app is a general utility and is not directed specifically to children. This policy may be updated when features or legal requirements change; the latest date is shown above.
